We are having trouble downloading easyC. We we try to open it we get the message "the installed version of this application could not be determined" then the program closes. Did anyone else have this issue?

I haven't seen that message.
Are you logged in with Administrator rights when doing the install?
What are details of the type of PC and operating system you are using?

We were logged in as an admin when we get the message. We have windows 10. Also, we were never prompted to give our license code. Is that the problem?

The license code comes after the install, so that’s not the problem.
Did you uninstall all the previous versions first?  That might help. Maybe there are instructions to read?

This was the first time we downloaded any easyC to this computer. Should we uninstall it and retry?

Sounds like a good plan.  Check your private messages for my phone number.

We downloaded Easy CV6 directly from the Intellitek website.  Then right-clicked the desktop shortcut and "Run as Administrator"  Click you are a subscription license and you will get the 32-digit block to enter your license code.  It worked just fine.  Even able to download our Cv5 programs to Cv6.
