As our team was beginning to study some of the playing field objects, we noticed that the plan specifications for the Replacement Pipe - Assembly (Part #10.A, Field Drawing pgs. 114-115) indicate a PVC tube diameter of 1.25". We do not see any PVC pipe of this size listed on the Consumable Parts list nor included in our kit. Are we to assume that this Replacement Pipe - Assembly should be constructed from 1" PVC, instead? Please advise.

Many thanks,

No, it is 1.25" PVC pipe. Take a look at the Field Bill of Materials (Pay_Dirt_BOM_1.8.xlsx) and look for the 1 1/4" PVC pipe. The BOM will give you the exact source(s) and part number(s). You can pick this size PVC up at Home Depot or Lowes.

The playing field is not made from Ckit items, and you don't need to bring your own replacement pipe, there is already one on the field.
If you want to make a practice field, follow the Field drawings and BOM as mentioned by gyoung.

To expand on Greg's reply, the Consumables Kit list describes the materials from which the robot can be built.  The broken pipe is part of the field, and so its components would not appear in the Consumables Kit list.

Thank you all for your responses. We had made the incorrect assumption that, like the air filter from this year and the prairie chicken and turbine blade from last year's field items, the replacement pipe parts would also be included in the consumable parts kit. Thank you for the clarification.
